Stonewall Brigade Band Board of Directors
Members of the Board of Directors are elected to one-year terms (January – December) by SBB members at a business meeting held no later than December 31st of each year. Below are the 2024 Directors:

Members of the SBB Board work collaboratively with each other, section leaders, and other members of the band to ensure that the SBB runs smoothly and is an enjoyable experience for both musicians and audience members. The Board usually meets on the second Thursday of each month. SBB members are welcome to attend Board meetings.
Section Leaders:
Section Leaders are appointed by the Music Director. They assign parts based on section members’ availability and ability and may provide some musical coaching/feedback. Section leaders may also act as a liaison with the Music Director and/or the SBB Board.

The Mountain Saxhorn Band is a reenactment of the original 1855 brass marching band. The saxhorns are reproductions of the original instruments. The group’s repertoire focuses on music of the late 1800s/early 1900s, but also includes more modern selections. Rehearses every other Wednesday. Contact Jacob Loya at superloyabros1@aol.com.
The Flutes of the Shenandoah includes not only the “standard” flute and piccolo, but also alto and bass flutes…and even a contra-bass flute! Some alto and bass flutes are available for ensemble members to use. Rehearsals are 6pm on Monday evenings. Contact Pam Mason at pmasonva@gmail.com.
The Nickle Plate Brass Quintet plays music from a variety of genres. Contact Chris Campagna at campagna67@gmail.com about scheduling performances.
